A VICTORIAN semi-detached house on Penarth seafront is up for sale for less than £900,000.

The Grade II-listed building in Balmoral Quays is located directly in front of Penarth Pier Pavillion.

The three-bedroom property is up for grabs for £829,950.

Built in the 1880s, the property was part of the swimming baths which closed in the 1980s.

The baths were turned into a bar before then being converted into residential dwellings.

The property is comprised of two levels, with the upper level including the main entrance, kitchen and living area, while the lower level contains the bedrooms.

The main reception/ living room

Upon entering the house visitors are greeted with a large open plan reception area with a high ceiling, decorative arches, picture rails, wood panelling and ceiling lights.

In this room there are stairs leading downstairs and also telephone and television points.

There is easily enough room here to place tables, chairs and sofas.

Also on this floor is the kitchen that has black granite work tops with a matching breakfast island.

In this kitchen are fully integrated Smeg appliances including a dishwasher, a washing machine, a stainless steel oven, a microwave and a five ring gas hob with extractor hood.

There is space for a fridge freezer to be installed.

The rest of this floor contains storage in the hallway as well as access to a side entrance.

This spacious area also contains access to a toilet with a hand basin.

The bedrooms (master bedroom at the bottom)

Downstairs are where the bedrooms are, with one master bedroom and two smaller bedrooms.

The master bedroom also contains a small dressing room which leads to an en-suite shower room with a toilet.

The other two bedrooms vary in size, with the current occupiers electing to put two single beds in the larger of the two rooms.

Despite being quite small in comparison to the other bedrooms, the smallest bedroom can contain a double bed.

Also on this floor is a bathroom.

Outside the property is an artificial lawn area, mature trees and paved terrace.

The lower courtyard area can be accessed from the lower levels of the house.

There is secure gated parking to the rear with two allocated parking bays.
